“Jensen bemoaned that he and Jared have “…been together way too long. The fact that we’re wearing the same shirt today….he showed up this morning and I said ‘dude, really?’””—jibcon 2012 (via unwrittenme)
“He’s like a brother and I love him … We understand each other, even if we look at each other in silence. He sweats a lot and I’m like a mother worried he’ll get sick so I wipe his sweat with a towel I carry around on set. He also eats a lot and usually they close the food area during certain times of the day and sometimes I have my leftovers and I give it to him. I have his back like he has mine. I just wish he was shorter.”—
Jensen Ackles on how he would explain Jared (JIB, 2012)
I understand that it is disrespectful by booing Misha. That is not cool. He is not Cas and deserves to have the respect that other guests get. He is not a dog. But regarding fans shouting they don’t want Cas back, well different strokes for different folks. Jensen is also the one who asked the question, therefor that gave the fans the right to express their thoughts. That was all on him, why even ask such a question when deep down he knows not everybody likes the character Cas. So, the people who shower everybody with the Cas love express their opinion, that would mean the ones who don’t have also the right to express their opinion. Again, it seems as though Jensen asked. I am sure he knew what he was getting himself into. Though I wish they didn’t disrespect Misha by booing him on stage, not cool Italian fans.
What? People booed on him? O_o That’s awful. I’m one of those people that don’t want Cas back at all and if I was asked I would say so (nicely of course lol), but Misha is perfectly adorable. It’s nothing to do with him. Booing any of the guests is unheard of - fan of them or not! It’s called respect.
Word. I don’t want Cas back, but even if there was a character that I hated with the passion of a thousand burning suns, I am SANE enough to realize that it’s not on the actor, that the actor is a real person, and I respect him/her for his/her hard work. This is like fans hating on Sam and transferring that into wishing death onto Jared and his family. CHARACTER =/= ACTOR, which would be obvious, but apparently it isn’t.
Also, can we please avoid jumping on the ‘ITALIAN FANS’ generalization? I am Italian, I have friends at the con, and we are all very respectful and wouldn’t dream of booing an actor because we don’t like a character. We learn in primary school that generalizing people because of their nationality, or race, or whatever you have it, is not nice - let’s bear that in mind.
the best part of these twitter pictures is all the pretentious and fancy tourists in the background who are just trying to enjoy their nice meal at this cafe and our boys are acting like the precious drunk man-children that they are and omg I just love it.
