Eric Kripke really hated the roadhouse.
#sometimes i don’t understand creators’ attitudes towards their creations #actually i have a lot of problems with kripke because we clash on a lot of ideas#reading the s4 guide and he’s saying things like #he never wanted angels because he wanted humans to be the only force of good in the world #and so the only way anyone convinced him to have angels is when sera (!!) went what if the angels were dicks#meanwhile i’m sat here like HOW DEPRESSING DOES YOUR WORLDVIEW HAVE TO BE #TO CREATE A WORLD FULL OF MONSTERS AND EVIL AND DEMONS #AND REFUSE THE IDEA THAT THERE MIGHT BE ANY SORT OF FORCE FOR GOOD :C #and then i look at this gifset and all i can think is #how is the roadhouse not realistic or credible? in-universe it made total sense #even hunters need an information network #what’s so wrong with background characters being heroes of their own stories? That’s how you create a fleshed-out world eric! #i love 1-5 but i do not pretend it didn’t have a shit-ton of problems #and a lot of those stemmed from kripke #i have high hopes for carver because he’s never seemed to share those views (via neraiutsuze)
Things like this make me so angry that I think every time I hear one of Kripke’s thoughts on the world he created, it confirms that I should have the opposite opinion.
Because honestly and truly, I have never read commentary that has missed the mark of this world so much as this. Wow Kripke, bravo.
This isn’t about a war.
MARRY ME
I just can’t get over how among “smartest,” “funniest,” “talented-est,” and incredible-est,” “toughest” and “buffest” just ease in as if they are normal complements you use when trying to woo a girl. Korra is tough and buff and an awesome chick and Bolin thinks she’s awesome because of that.
I KNOW
in that moment i knew
bolin is The One

"When I'm with you, I remember the past..."Sasuke…are you trying to break my heart? That look on your face…I wish I could give you the biggest hug right now. Their bond was so precious. My poor Uchiha brothers. I can’t handle this~ ヽ(´□`。)ノ
Tell me Ser Loras, what do you desire most in this world?
- Revenge.
okay everything is funny even sad things this probably means i should go to bed now
Feminist Frequency on race and casting for The Hunger Games

Child’s First Haircut of the Day: Five-year-old Rean Carter of Sunderland is being compelled to get his very first haircut by kids at school who refuse to quit taunting him for “looking like a girl.”
According to Rean’s mum, Leeanne Smith, the tyke has simply grown “sick” of being teased by boys at school. She said his long, flowing locks were never an issue for him until his school made him tie his hair back for “health and safety” reasons.
“Some of the other little boys began to make fun,” said Smith. “They said he could not play with them because he looked like a girl.”
The thought of having to cut off his hair made Rean cry, but though the family barber was instructed “not to take too much off,” the boy specifically requested a “spiky” ‘do.
The haircut won’t be for naught: Rean is collecting sponsorship funds from friends and family, which he will donate to the Sunderland Royal Hospital’s children’s unit. Rean spent some time there in 2010 after he contracted impetigo.
