“where are you going to college”

“what do you want to go to college for”

“have you decided what you want to do with the rest of your life based on 12 years of studying material that has little real world practical applicability”

Congrats on hitting puberty, Ed.

It’s so weird seeing these gifs because when you actually watch the show they do it so gradually that you barely even notice (at least I didn’t) but then you look at these and it’s like, whoaa. Even Winry has a completely different face, it’s not just Ed getting taller and more muscular.

Animation, you’re doing it right.

especially when you consider this happens in what, a year?  a year and a half?

This is actually one of the things I love most about FMA. They age so gradually, just like real people. A lot of times in anime and other animation, there’s not really a slow process of growing up; it’s just sort of, “Hey, look, she has curves now, and he’s way taller.”

i tell Nyan he’s hot

he tells me i’m crazy

i ask why he thinks that

he says because his nose is big and he doesn’t have bigger muscles and asfdgjahksjldk

HE SAYS HE CAN BE CUTE BUT NOT HOT

AND I JUST

NO

YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL EYES AND A PRECIOUS SMILE AND IMPRESSIVE MUSCLES THAT MAKE ME GO ASDHKGASJD AND YEAH THAT “CUTE” FACE IS EVEN HOTTER WHEN YOU’RE TURNED ON SO STOP

how are those guys in tsn not pleased with rooney mara’s boobs smfh rooney mara has perfect boobs

At the register next to me today (being operated by my trainer and friend), a customer was yelling about not getting a free tool kit. I don’t know the context, but there was literally no reason for him to be screaming that loudly at someone that wasn’t at fault.

So, our new manager, Kari, comes over, and tells him they’re going to check on something. He screams at her, too. And she, very calmly, tells him, “Well, if you want, you can go meet him there.”

Again, no context, but it was a Mark-level “fuck you.”

[this is not a happy post/article]

In other words, these authors need to stop being elitist and shut up. Not every fanfiction writer wants to be a professional author, and assuming that is the case only makes you look like a jackass. These writers, like the ones so against fanfiction, write because they like to, because it’s fun. They aren’t hurting anyone, nor are they trying to make money off of what they write.

This entire argument is stupid, to be honest.

As a fanfiction writer, and a non-fanfic writer, I have a pretty positive view on fanfiction. I think that it’s great; it’s a wonderful exercise and sometimes just a fun thing to do when you’re getting too bogged down by a large writing project.

This maybe an unpopular opinion, but i feel like AUs can be wonderful first drafts. In a real, far off AU of a story, the only thing that connects AU characters to canon characters is their names and sometimes family structure. I have read a lot of fanfiction where I wish the author would go back and change the names and a few details and make it an actual book/ebook that I can buy and read.

As most of you know, I’m taking a fanfic and trying to make it a ‘real’ story, though after reading a lot of those comments on the article, I’m starting to feel very guilty about it.

But if I ever become a successful writer, I would be insulted if there wasn’t fanfic based on my characters and books.

Missing e v2.9.9 - Fix for ‘e.’ button, default off “Send to Facebook”, tag-only posts

joshishollywood:

missing-e:

Missing e v2.9.9 is now available!

~ Fix ‘e.’ icon ~

A recent Tumblr change made this icon look like a fading white box. This is now fixed.

~ Tag-Only Posts ~

This built-in feature will now allow you to post blank text posts as long as they have tags!

~ Default “Send to Facebook” to Off ~

When you have a Twitter account connected to your blog, you can choose whether the “Send to Twitter” checkbox for new posts is off or on by default. For some reason, this isn’t true for the new “Send to Facebook” feature.

If you’d prefer to have your Facebook account connected to your blog, but NOT send new posts to Facebook by default, activate the new setting under Missing e’s Posting Tweaks feature!
