A bunch of little pics I sketched inspired/depicted from nightworldlove’s amazing AU Korrasami fanfic The Game is On (In which Korra is the star quarterback football player & Asami is the head cheerleader for the team (who had a huge crush on Korra ohohoho)
I decided to draw Korra taller than Asami for this.
To my surprise, I’m completely ok with it ʘ‿ʘ
"Peter Parker’s this really nerdy guy, he’s not that attractive, girls don’t like him that much. Tobey Maguire really nailed that because that’s kind of himself in real life. But you, Andrew Garfield, you just emit this swagger and all the girls can attest it and they love you. So how do you tone down your awesomeness to play Peter Parker?"

Mystical Takachiho Gorge, Japan
A little-known jewel to travelers outside of Japan, hidden in the Miyazaki Prefecture in the center of the Kyushu Mountains, is the breath-taking Takachiho Gorge. The V-shaped gorge consists of stunning limestone cliffs that were formed from the lava of Mt. Aso (the largest active volcano in Japan) which over time was eroded by the Gokase-gawa River. The result of which is a beautiful gorge with sparkling clear aquamarine water surrounded by 80 to 100 meter high cliffs of volcanic basalt columns.
At the gorge, you can rent a boat and row past these high walls to Manai-no-taki Falls, which is a 17 meters high waterfall. In addition, the gorge has over 600-meters of walking trails, with views that overlook the beauty of the gorge and the waterfall.
Takachiho Gorge is not only a natural wonder but an important spiritual retreat with more than one million Japanese visitors a year. The gorge is home to the Amanoiwato shrine which is dedicated to a cave off the river. The cave holds the secrets of the myth of how solar eclipses began.
According to myth, the Sun Goddess Amaterasu-omikami hid herself in a cave called Amanoiwato to avoid Susanoo-no-mikoto, her brother. This is an interpretation of how solar eclipses began as the Sun Goddess’ “light” was hidden within the cave. Tradition says that the Amanoiwato Shrine is dedicated to this cave.
Want to go so much!
I forgot to post this the other day, I dont know how I forgot omg
a few days ago when I was sitting outside of a doctor’s office with my dad waiting for the door to open, while waiting made conversation with an 80-something year old man named george and his wife ruth. we talked for a bit about the weather and hummingbirds until george looks at me with the oldest expression he could muster and asks “do you recycle? would you like three empty beer cans and a clothes hanger I found in the road to throw out?”
to be nice, I told him that I would did and would recycle it. but when he told his wife to go get it from the car, I saw her giggle and shake her head. I was a little bit confused when I saw her digging around and I saw something red in her hand. he apparently hid it behind his back while I wasn’t looking, and he gave me the biggest smile when he presented it to me. “here you go, this is your three empty beer cans and a coat hanger! do you still want to throw it out?”
apparently he’s been making them since ‘78 and gives them out to any person that he thinks deserves one. I thought this was the cutest thing ever 8A8

Thumper was very attached to this spot in the park beside a tree. He wouldn’t leave it, not even when I carried him away. He ran all the way back to the same spot!
